Phone call from Elena Manferdini. $30k scholarship (no arch background)

Very Excited. One of my top choices.

I am the Chair of the Georgia Tech School of Architecture and I wanted to be the first to congratulate you on being accepted into our 3.5 year Master of Architecture program! We had a very large applicant pool this year and you stood out as someone who we think can really excel in our program. You will receive a formal letter in a few days with more information and next steps but I wanted to personally give you the good news. Sincerely, Scott

First decision result! I'm ecstatic !! Good luck to everyone, and here's hoping there's more where this came from!

With a fellowship...humbled and excited :)

Exciting news!

Still waiting for the official package.

After careful review, I regret to inform you that the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences is unable to take favorable action on your application to the Architecture and Landscape and Urban Planning. The number of promising applicants well exceeded the number of offers of admission we can make for the 2016-2017 academic year. I know that this decision comes as a disappointment. Unfortunately, enrollment of new students is limited to a small fraction of those who are qualified for admission. I want to assure you that your application received full consideration by faculty members in the program to which you applied. We appreciate your interest in the Graduate School and wish you success in your future studies.
