Interviewed 1/20, got an email acceptance exactly 2 weeks later

I got an e-mail to check my portal, very excited!

The email went to my spam and I️ almost missed it!

Invite to interview day

Received an email from the director of the BMB ScM program that while I didn't receive a PhD interview, I am being offered a spot in their Masters program. I'm not sure if I'll accept since I'm still waiting to hear from PhD programs I interviewed with but it's a huge honor that they even considered me!!

Offered to be considered for the Master of Science degree instead ( I also noted it's a possibility in application if PhD isn't available).

Notice for a second round of interviews (what would normally be a site visit) after two skype interviews last week. Next round consists of four interviews with faculty/admissions committee members, an additional interview with the program director, and an opportunity to virtually attend one or two courses.
