Unofficial--email from my POI telling me he would be at Princeton next year but would like to accept me if I was ok with that. Obviously said yes.

Finally broke down and wrote grad director. His response was prompt and nice enough, but heart-wrenching nonetheless.

i'm wondering about USC too. i know they interviewed in january and sent out acceptances in february so who knows why they won't just sent out letters.

To the USC poster below: I'm not sure what's going on with USC, but I have an interview with them this afternoon. It's a mystery as to what is taking so long...

I never received anything official. Had to write POI to find out what was going on. She told me I'm on the wait list. (Great, but what if I hadn't written her. . . ?) Anyway, I hope they contact me with a final decision soon.

Accepted to MA after I deferred admission to the PhD last year. A little insulting... Do they think I've gotten dumber?
