SLPA experience along with Masters in ABA. For September 21 cohort!

Not really waitlisted.... have not heard anything. Anyone else having the same experience?

Got the call this morning! Was not expecting this!! Interview was 5/27 and application was complete shortly after. 3.32 undergrad GPA in Speech & Hearing Sciences, no GREs, great LORs and personal essay.

Had phone interview on 5/27/21. It was three questions long and took 8 minutes to complete.

My first choice, so happy.! Accepted to NYU online, and could not believe the lack of response when I reached out, not to mention ZERO financial aid. Interviewed for NYMC and heard back two days later. MEDICAL STUDY!!! SO HAPPY!!!! Wait listed at James Madison, rejected from Emerson (took them 6 months to let me know). Strong essay, 3.6 undergrad, 4.0 in prerequisites. GOOD LUCK to everyone, NEVER GIVE UP!

Accepted off the Waitlist, turned down the offer.

After being at the top of the waitlist at schools with full cohorts, I was finally accepted somewhere. Out of field applicant with a degree in music/theatre. 3.8 GPA

I hadn't applied in a few years because I felt my scores were not acceptable. I have worked as an SLPA for 8 years and have a Masters in ABA now. I feel that helped. Keep trying!!!

I interviewed via Zoom on 05/10 and received my acceptance 5/19 via e-mail. I have experience working as a school paraprofessional, NSSLHA member for 4 years, 3 semesters serving as NSSLHA president, volunteer work in school's clinic, volunteered in school's ASD research program, and had strong references based on my experience.

Not an interview. Has anyone heard back from Kingsville? I have called and the receptionist said that the program is still reviewing applicants.

To the poster below, I'm in the same boat! I was waitlisted on April 6th and still have yet to hear any update...I know some places won't let us know until the week before classes, but I'm hopeful we can all hear back before then!

Originally on waitlist then got notification of program full. Today I got an email from the director of the program offering me a seat. Completely beside myself with excitement because this was my top choice. Definitely accepting.
