to the person asking if I reached out to OSU yes I contacted the program director

Pumped! Funding info included

My first rejection. Haven't heard from other programs I applied to. A little worried that I won't go anywhere.

Received a phone call from the graduate director on 1/20/21 informing me of my acceptance to the program with 5 years of full funding. I am still waiting to receive my official email and portal update.

5-year funding with TA opportunities and summer support.

Rejected via email

Made great connections with 2 potential faculty advisors and spoke with them multiple times prior to submitting my app. Spoke with current Austin PhD students for advice on application. Have 5 years of relevant work experience and a 3.8 undergrad GPA, 2 academic publications and dozens of articles in academic magazines. Rejected via form email.

Rather annoyed... I had been corresponding with a POI for a few months now and got the impression I had a strong shot. Austin would have been nice.

Pretty standard rejection email, not unkind.

Rejected via generic email

Trying to remember this was a safety school I didn't want to go to lol still hurts tho

Same e-mail of rejection than below.

rejected through email. very generic, but nice

Received a brief e-mail saying 'The Graduate Admissions Committee gave careful consideration to your application, but we regret to inform you that you were not selected for admission. We received a large number of applications and were only able to make a limited number of offers.' 1r/0a/15p
