full funding

Postings about NYU philosophy offers were brought to our attention. These postings (or the alleged offers) are pranks. We won't be ready to make offers for several weeks.

"funding through the Henry M. MacCracken program"

Elated! Just got a call, apparently I'm the third admit. Funded all the way through, NYC baby!

Email ominously said 'Admission Decision available online'. Oh well, it's NYU film school after all -- very selective. Though it hurt a tad to know that I was not even selected for interviews. And I know this because I read somebody's entry on this website that he/she was selected for an interview, so I am assuming that they do have interviews.

emailed to ask and got this response: "still reviewing files. We had a record setting number of applications this year, so the process is taking some time."
