Same poster as below. Canadian Citizen. Applying for part time M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering. Submitted application around mid-March. Got requested to send my Official Transcript on July 9th. Offer emailed on July 19th. The wait is finally over :D

Canadian Citizen. Applying for part time M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering. Submitted application around mid-March. Got requested to send my Official Transcript on July 9th. SGS status for Official Transcript was changed to "Received" on July 16th. Still no offer.

Submitted my application right before the deadline. Followed up with the MIE grad admission office multiple times and finally got the offer.

Finally got a decision from Purdue. It was a bit hard to swallow as they told me that despite my strong credentials, the professors could not take any more students. They told me that I will receive an official deny soon via e-mail. God, they took their own sweet time to reject me off of the waitlist. They told that they wanted to give their professors every chance to take in the right students for the coming fall semester and hence they took that long to send a reject.

Accepted to MEng mechanical. Applied in May 31st. Got asked for Official transcript on June 12th and offer on June 21st

Dunno about acceptances, but rejections have been sent out too late. Dammit Rice.

I want to persue my masters in mechanical engineering in Germany.

Got an email to check the website. It was a really drawn out process and I don't feel that my application even got looked at because I applied after January 15th even though they were still accepting applications. I feel like I ONLY received the rejection once I emailed them a few days ago about the status. Which tells me that my application would've remained without decision/ignored if I hadn't emailed about it but who knows.

Did anyone else receive any notification from the University regarding admission? I still have not received any decision on my application and I don't know when they will release the decisions. Contacting them at this point seems to bear no fruit as they keep saying the same thing. Has anyone else received any sort of notification as to when they will receive a decision?

After taking almost 5 months, they offered a rejection.

I heard the same thing from the graduate office. Apparently, they waitlisted my application. Expecting mass rejects this week.

Received a reply from the Grad office saying that the official replies can be expected within this week, with the admissions for Fall 2019 coming to a close soon.

Anyone got admitted to MIE Meng program recently? been anxiously waiting for about 8 weeks :(

This is getting ridiculous. Been waiting for so long now. Has anyone else heard back recently?
