TPB: First, you should be kidding! In most fields and also generally, Chicago is better than the others you mentioned. Second, as far as I know, UPenn does not offer funding, which I guess makes the entering class a bit weaker than previous years. Third, there is no convincing. All the options are good and you might have special reasons for choosing each one. Forth, you do have a very small effect on the others being called from the waitlists. Try to be a little nice for your own questions. Good luck.

Ignore Waitlist. I haven't heard back at all. I applied by October and the application went to review in Feb mid. I still haven't heard anything. they never respond to mails or attend calls.

Got offers from all three. Convince me which I should pick. The faster you do this, the quicker you'll ascend from the depths of the crevasse that is the waitlist.

Very disappointed about this. I had a very high GRE score, and GPA, a strong personal statement (or so I thought), and relevant experience. Wasn't planning on going anyway but really wanted to get in. Congrats to everyone!

Has anyone from December or earlier still no heard back? Columbia is my top choice but the deadlines for other offers are coming up soon.
