Received an email saying the portal had been updated. I received an offer from Oxford (my first choice) so this isn't too big of a deal, even if it is somewhat of a surprise.

Ignore waitlist - good to hear that they are making their decisions this week. Hopefully we will know by the end of this week or early next week how it went. I guess by this late stage we must be at the discussion table ie we haven't been cut early on? Best of luck to everyone!

Ignore the waitlist. The department informed me previously that the admissions committee would be meeting this week to discuss international applications. It would be strange if they had lied to me.

Haven't received any information regarding my application to York Uni (CA) yet. International student. I emailed them today actually to ask for an update - but I guess they won't reply until Monday at the earliest now. I wonder why they are making the international students wait?
