Emailed the department and all short-listed candidates have already been contacted and decision letters will be sent out. So basically I'm expecting a rejection since I wasn't contacted. BA from McMaster with a 3.9 GPA. What a joke...

Got waitlisted in January and kinda gave up hope for UNC. Thank god they told me before I accepted another offer.

No funding

I called the school because I have another offer from a really good program that wants a decision by the end of the week. They still haven't made a decision on my application so I'm thinking of tapping out.

to person asking below- canadian citizen, undergrad at UofT, cGPA 3.7. Got an unofficial email saying i've been accepted last week and this week got official package with funding information etc.

To the posters below that have been accepted, could you give any information about what was in the email or your own stats/where your undergrad is from? I've tried contacting the department to get an update on my status and have yet to hear back in over a week.

Has anyone heard from Txs State or emailed about when decisions will come out? I need to give a decision to a different school asap, but TXS is my top choice!

I emailed to ask, and was told I'm on the waitlist. Apparently they've made 12 offers.

To the poster below, I'm also still waiting to hear from them and know another applicant still waiting as well. It seems they're very slow this year! Has anyone else heard anything? I'm also about to have to make some decisions, but would like to know all of my options before doing so!

Has anyone heard anything from this program? I know one person interviewed here in February and I've seen some Masters program results posted, but just wondering if anyone heard any more info than that. I have to make some decisions soon but I don't want to commit without knowing results from every school.

To the CUNY poster below: I have also not heard anything. I had been in contact with my POI early on in the process, and he had suggested there are multiple stages they go through for admissions, so not to be discouraged if I hadn't heard anything yet. But that was late Feb/early March. I don't even know if I'm on a waitlist at this point or if they are just taking tneir time sending my rejection.

So I still haven't heard a word from Cuny and don't know how should I interpret this. No interview, no rejection, no waitlist... Is there anyone else in the same situation?

Got offered a teaching assistantship and graduate tuition waiver. Super excited about being accepted! Waiting to hear back from other schools I've applied to before making a decision.

I have not heard back for the bio track PhD.Have heard the department is at each other's throats in some areas. Not sure how credible this is, or how it might related to prolonged decision, but either way they wait is a bit telling of how they run things.
