Received an email notification from the program director. with Tuition remission and TA stipend. It seems to me that all the professors there are really nice. Everyone responded to my email promptly even before I applied to the program, which is not always the case for many other programs I applied to. And they are more than helpful when I have some special requests. Very likely to accept the offer for the nice faculty. | ||||

Does anyone have any feedback on this program? All I am hearing is that it is a cash cow for them and meant for rich Chinese students. Most of the graduates remain jobless. The admission process is not at all competitive. Am I missing something? | ||||

Don't apply to this program. They will send out a couple of UNFUNDED offers to a few PhD applicants, and completely IGNORES the rest of the application pools. You'd think you deserve better since you've paid the application fee, but nope, you're nothing but an otherwise worthless cash cow to them. | ||||
