Standard email

Generic rejection letter. My GPA was in the lower region, and more importantly, I wasn't able to write a very strong SOP to state my motivation for pursuing the program, which both contributed to the rejection.

I got the call first on Feb 12. Then I received an informal email. I honestly thought I was rejected. Best of luck to everyone!

To admitted students: does anyone know for sure yet that they won't accept? Sincerely, a very eager waitlisted student 😭

TTPB: I also applied to the Physics PhD program and I am still without any news as well.

From rejection email: "We have only been able to accept fewer than 1 in 20 applicants."

There are much more applicants (hundreds). I think this program is getting much more competitive than in previous years.

So grateful!! Single subject Math. I was too excited during the call and can't remember when I was told I should get my official letter/email with acceptance. For anyone else who has been accepted, any idea when that is? Appreciate it in advance, and congratulations to everyone hearing good news!
