MAPH program with a 12k scholarship. Probably won't end up going

Posted on portal w/o email notification. Awarded $12k, but still way out of budget.

Never notified about my status on my application. I checked the application website to see if I could find out more information. I saw a status update telling my that I was not admitted into the program but was reffered and accepted into MAPSS with a 1/3rd tuition funding. Unsure on whether Ill accept due to the cost of living in Chicago and tuition.

Remembered to check the portal bc I got an email notice about MAPSS Campus Day being cancelled due to COVID. Lol. Half tuition scholarship.

Modern Taiwanese History. Never received an email, just randomly checked the website and saw I was rejected, but accepted to MAPSS with 1/3 funding, pretty insulting. I already have an MA U Chicago, I cannot afford to buy another from you for $40K

I randomly logged into the portal and there was an acceptance letter for MAPSS (I applied for PhD)

Offered admission into MAPSS program with 2/3 funding instead.

No email sent, checked portal. Denied PhD, accepted for MAPSS

Checked the website and found a status update posted today. This came about a week after many others seemed to be notified of rejections. No offer of MAPSS or anything like that.

MAPPS 2/3 scholarship

I got admitted into MAPSS with a partially funded offer called the "Phoenix Research Award". Maybe the university thinks that through spending one year of my life paying them tuition, I can be reborn through the ashes of this rejection. Thanks UofC, but I will be sitting this one out.

They sent the official letter to my personal mailbox. How did they know my other email address? Surprise!

Accepted by MAPSS as well.
