Wait, to the below poster, what do you mean they will make decisions about hidden waitlist??

If you were accepted or waitlisted, and already have better offers/places where you would rather go, PLEASE decline sooner rather than later, because they will be making their decisions about the hidden waitlist very soon! This is the only chance for some of us!

To the post below, how did you find the odds of receiving funding? Also, does anyone know when we will get responses for funding?

UM is my top choice! I've received no acceptances so far, and I would like this to be my first. Please let them know as soon as you can if you plan on declining or removing yourself from the waitlist. You would be helping me out big time! Thank you.

Grateful for how quickly they sent out rejections after acceptances/waitlists. Congrats to all admitted or waitlisted! :)

checked portal, was accepted, but had no email about it. inquired and received an email with more details about my acceptance but not really any useful details.

Received an email informing my application on a waitlist. This is my first choice and if you dont plan to accept your offer, kindly decline at the earliest. Thank You fellow philosophers. 0a/1w/12r/8p

Solicited and was told that I was "very high on the shortlist" but that they could not offer me a position this year. Basically a rejection. 0a/0w/3r/0p

I have a JD but do not have a philosophy background. I have been accepted to two other terminal programs so far.

Enail to check portal.

They said that they received over 300 applications for only 5 slots this year. 1a/7r/1p :(

5a/0w/2r/3p Was expecting this. The 5 acceptances are from MA programs, 2 rejections from PhDs. Congrats to everyone who got into Cornell! In the rejection email they said they had over 300 applications for 5 spots.
