Ignore waitlist. Anyone knows why aren't the results for UW Madison coming in? Looking at the past years data - they generally send funding notifications for 3-4 days continuously and then mostly rejects and a small portion of accepts with mostly no funding.

Had two first author publications one of the papers was a top conference in my area (security). I also worked with a professor closely over the summer and we published another paper together that will come out later this year. I had four very good research letters of rec and have been doing research for about 3 years. I came from low ranked university in computer science but made it work.

CS from old IIT. One year research experience. Decent LoRs. Two pubs (both second author). Should have retaken/skipped sending GRE scores.

Accepted to the CS-AI program. Around seven or eight of my batchmates received acceptances in the last couple of hours too. Happy to answer any questions if relevant!

Reject received through CICS email. Disappointed, although expected. Top college from India, but CGPA ~ 8.77 probably didn't make the cut. One publication in unrelated field.

Master GPA. Pubs in computational sociology. Emailed prof in advance. Connection matters folks.

Received an email about acceptance from the CICS department. Portal status is update pending. No GRE, 3 publications, HCI.

Received the result last week. Robotics/AI 6 Publications at various top conferences and journals.

I think the list of profs. in my application was not really taking students this year.

Interviewed by POI mentioned in SOP.

Sad bc I really want to stay in Seattle.

Have BS and MS degree in EE
