Not surprised. It seems like they are only accepting applications with a very high GPA.

TTPB: I'm pretty sure CS PhD results have not been sent yet. I had an interview yesterday and the prof told me that the decisions will come out next week.

I am a current undergrad at MIT and they are definitely still looking at applications. The spring semester does not officially start until Monday.

If the post below is accurate, that admits are given out and everybody else is waitlisted. Then it is unfortunate. I dont think people should dream. They never come true.

TTPB: MIT is still a week or two away from emailing out decisions. I heard this from POIs who interviewed me.

Has MIT admits been sent? It is pretty sad they let the rejects know in March? So far, I guess all MIT admits have received mails. Any of the posters know until when MIT will send mails to admits, i.e. do they send in batches or they send in one go to all the admits. The process is killing me, have heard from nowhere.

Contacted by a professor in my preferred research area who wanted to learn more about my background.
