Was invited for interview and notified by phone two days later

Was not at interview day, but was still waitlisted somehow.

Mass rejection email from department chair. Sucks but not surprised. No interview. All the best to those accepted. Seems like a wonderful program!

3.1cum/3.3 in major; low GREs; 3.5 years of undergrad research experience; multiple poster presentations at conferences (e.g., APS, SRCD); 3 strong letters of recommendation; strong campus involvement with diversity, equity + inclusion. good luck everyone!

FYI. The OII started interviews this week for the SDS and ICSS PhDs this week. But they are still going through applications (a friend is a current student there)

They said that email acceptances should be sent out by the end of next week.

Has anyone heard back from the joint degree program yet? I know it says by the first, but it’s weird no one has gotten an acceptance call yet.
