Canadian applicant. The offer came with $9500/year in funding. I officially (and very sadly) declined it yesterday as I have offers from other institutions that suit my research interests better.

I was accepted shortly (i.e., a few hours) after I submitted my application via informal email from the program director, and a formal letter followed a few weeks later. I just declined the offer though, so hopefully that opens up a spot to those of you still waiting.

I emailed the department last night. Was told that the admission committee is in their last few days of reviewing candidates.

I also applied to the DPH program and I haven't heard anything yet.

I applied to the Community, Society, and Health DPH program and have not gotten any notification. I've been a nervous wreck waiting to hear something.

Initially felt bad until I read in the forums that someone had dropped out of this program after a year and planned to enter a more developed public health program at another school to which I have been accepted. Sweet! Thank you almamater! I will not miss you.

Got it off waitlist. Slots are filled. If you have been accepted to other schools, go for it.

Removed myself from the waiting list last week. I talked to Meredith in March and she confirmed that their were only 2 spots this year. I am pretty sure IDM only accepted students with ties to the program since I was accepted at: Berkeley, UWashington, JHU, Columbia, and UMich. My advice is that if you are on the waiting list and already have an offer, take it!

No notification of funding.

I had great test scores, gpa, work experience, etc. They didn't interview applicants, and I had to solicit information throughout the process, including the admissions decision. New program, and it shows.
