Accepted off of waitlist! 4a/2w/2r/1p

Accepted yesterday for poetry w/ funding via e-mail. Did not receive a prior waitlist notification, so I'm unsure if I made it in off the waitlist or if they're accepting in waves. Excited either way!

Commenting to the waitlisted FSU poster below; I applied to FSU's PhD in Poetry and did *not* receive a waitlist letter. Hope that's of some consolation!

RE: email methods: I also got the polite form letter email, so I guess I’d want to hear that some people only got the “check portal“ email from them this year before reading into it, as much as I’d like to.

I like this program. Fingers crossed! 4a/2w/2r/1p

Got an email to check the portal and had a sinking feeling in my stomach. But found out I got accepted today and I was thrilled! Good luck everyone.

Has anyone heard anything from Irvine yet?

was called by a professor of the school.

was contacted by the Graduate Advisor for the Department. He followed up with a phone call.

Same as others. I have a feeling everyone is on the waitlist? Haven’t seen any rejections go up.

Although I heard that literally everyone who isn't admitted off the bat gets on this thing, so holding off on my excitement.

Very short and direct email. Apparently, I've been on the wait-list since Feb. 23rd. 2a/1w/1r/3p
