undergrad gpa from Harvard, majoring in social sciences. I thought I had a chance at getting in given my background and great GRE scores but nope. Columbia's loss.

Does anyone who applied for PhD/MS program get MS offer?

If anyone got accepted and doesn't want to go, PLEASEEEEE LET COLUMBIA KNOW! It is my dream school!!

Waitlisted. For those who for got accepted (Cong!), please decline if you have better options. Thank you so much!

Where are the decisions?

Received a reply from admission committee : "Applications are still under review. We expect to get decisions out through early April. Thanks for your continued patience. "

Ignore wl. Did anyone receive funding in any form??

Found out through a text telling me to sign up for accepted student's day. Found the email in spam, so if you're waiting, double-check! 3.92 Overall 3.99 Major (Physics). Significant computational research, well rounded. Interviewed in November, just got my acceptance, thought that the ship had sailed, very excited and good luck to others!

I had an interview with very specific questions around mid-February. Yesterday, I finally received an offer via email!!

To the person who commented \"reek of desperation,\" it\'s actually really sad that prospective employers don\'t care about any of that. One of my friends who got a full ride at Duke Law, which is ranked 12, declined the offer to go to Harvard Law School at almost full price (15k scholarship spanning over 3 years). (Over half of the Harvard Law School student body pays full price to attend and Columbia Law\'s is about 40% -- www.lstreports.com/national/admissions) I do think it probably makes more sense to do that for law school or business school, but to each their own. And it is indeed unfortunate and sad that the world cares way too much about pedigree and prestige. Anywhooo, if you are not going to accept the offer, please decline!!
