Summer research placement at UPenn, with LOR from UPenn Professor. No publications.

Rejected post-interview. Lots of research experience, multiple pubs, enthusiastic (top choice), felt great about the interviews. Very disappointed. Best of luck to the other candidates. It's a great program.

Woooo!!! First acceptance!! POI texted me to schedule phone call for this evening. (FYI for those waiting to hear back: I was the only one they were considering for my particular POI's lab, so rest assured I didn't take anyone else's spot). Still waiting to hear back from one other school, but very excited!

Very excited. No email or anything from POI or department but status changed to accepted.

Was told there were only 3 spots available this year, so I'm pleasantly surprised. Only took 1 week to hear back after interviews.

My PI phoned me and let me know that I was in. We should receive official emails in a couple of days. First choice!

Question: If I have not heard anything from the programs that I applied to and have not been invited for an interview, should I give up hope? 0a/0w/1r/4tbd

Attended the second, smaller week. Had a blast and was honored to be selected.
