domestic student with background in architecture

Conditional offer from UBC Vancouver. Conditional upon 3k CAD, and sending official transcripts and certificates. Says nothing about scholarship or anything. Full payment disclosed. (45k for Intl. Stu). Also says to prepare for physical presence in August 21, as classes may be held on-campus.

Ignore Wl, can we just mass mail them its been more than 10 weeks, and we have payed almost 80 dollars to apply, we deserve timely results from any university. This is not done. So annoying !

UC undergrad, 2 publications 3 internships

So excited about the admission! Received an email containing the unofficial notification, then checked the portal and found my official admission letter. I am an international applicant with a background in architecture and extensive research experience. Any body else got admitted to this program? please share your results to discuss more.

Super thankful to have gotten in, but there's no mention of funding. They also let their applicants know really late.

Those who don't want to attend and have offers from these places, please decline them. I am currently waitlisted and have no other offers!

Super excited, but no mention of funding. Not sure what to do.

IGNORE WL - has anyone heard back from this program yet?

(Ignore Waitlist) To the person talking about the application portal showing Columbia UNI and PID, I too saw the same message on my portal on April 9 and was wondering what it meant. When I checked the portal after a few hours, that statement vanished. I think what I saw was a technical glitch. But I agree, no status update from Columbia is causing frustration. Time to accept another offer I guess.

Ignore the acceptance and the previous post. I'm really disappointed that a top program still can't figure its sh*t out when it comes to maintaining its yield and sending out decisions on time. It would be a different situation if every other program was doing this but that's simply not true. They've been doing this consistently for a while. The least they could do is let people know that they will likely be waitlisted or rejected beyond this point because that seems to be the most likely scenario. I hope they face some repercussions that will prevent them from doing the same thing next year.

Declined the offer a few weeks ago. Good luck to those on the waitlist!

Accepted off of the wait list. Rejecting the offer - hopefully someone else can attend!

TTPB; To the Columbia University, Phd -> master's poster below. I had also applied on the same path but I am yet to receive any notification for the master's application decision. I hope they send us the notification soon.
