As a physics major, should've taken bio/chem courses. App forwarded to phy dept, rejected on 2/25.

This is a pretty competitive program, if I was going to be rejected somewhere it would have been here.But that's ok, I have other options.

letter was attached to a blank email and dated the 20th. 240 applicants, 4 positions. did not accept any of their own MA students

Called office to ask my status, secretary said I was in Limbo because a faculty member expressed interest in my application, but had not accepted me yet. She said all other rejection/acceptance letters had gone out, and that I would probably not hear until after April 15. To the poster below.. are you planning to contact your faculty members of interest after being waitlisted?

To say I'm crushed is an understatement. My only rejection during this process, and it had to come from my dream school...the place I've been picturing myself for years now.
