To the other poster: I'm classified as out-of-state, but my letter didn't say anything about funding either. I assume that the department itself will contact us in a bit on that, so I wouldn't worry just yet.

Same weird "graduate visitation" email from UNCG. Friend in the Dept said that not funding many students this year bc of school expansion costs.

I would imagine that their long time to send out a reply would be nerve-wracking for some. Why do they take so long? I thought April 15th was the "cut-off" date. But I accepted another program's offer of admission two months ago so this acceptance was a sort of an amusing afterthought.

Talked to the Graduate department head and was offered full funding (13,500 a year, full tuition, and medical).

No funding and too late.
