Very happy! My interview went terrible so I wasn't expecting!

Received an email today from my probable advisor. Official letter and funding decision expected from the PhD Director in the next week or so.

Although I have met the early deadline for my program....I am still waiting for the decision. I am so nervous.....can’t sleep anymore

In spite of not having a First Class Honors Degree (International), invites for interview. Interviewer asked me at the end if my GPA is equal to a First Class Honours Degree. I said no but referred to my class rank (top 2%). He said that although they make an overall review, typically they send offers to students with a First Class Honours Degree. Two weeks later the rejection came. I wonder why they did not ask me about my degree before the interview and instead wasted their time.

Applied for MACRM, but they offered me this. 4 years of work experience. Offered $10,000 scholarship

Submitted my application Dec. 1. Still confused as to how financial aid works in the UK, but looks like I didn't receive any, or if I did receive a scholarship, I won't find out until July?

*Update from earlier post via being waitlisted: I received notification by email and submitted my application by the January 19th deadline. No feedback as to a time frame or my placement on the list, which is concerning--some of my other programs want a decision by April. To others who have been waitlisted: have you heard roughly when final decisions will be released?

Email to inquire the status, replying said to check the updates of website, standard rejection letter. Still can’t believe being rejected by this school:/

Hello to the person that said they were wait listed in comparative social policy! Can you perhaps tell me how you found out you where wait listed? Did you call? Did they send you an email?

The email notification is a surprise, very creative. No funding.

Also waitlisted. It's nearly impossible for me to wait until (probably) early May. Need to make my decision soon.

To be relevant posts below. Same waitlisted here, apply by the January 19th deadline. It's really frustrating to receive a waitlist in late March, when other friends have got their offers a long time ago and some institutions are pushing me to respond their offer soon.

Has anyone heard about funding and visit days?
