We regret to inform you that your application for this graduate program was not successful. Each year, many good applicants are declined admission to the University of British Columbia. Common reasons for declining applicants include unavailability of appropriate faculty advisors and/or funding for the applicant, an applicant's less competitive academic record, and simply the limited number of spots available in graduate programs.

Told by POI. To those who got an offer, if you have decided not to accept, could you please decline it soon? I really want this one, thanks a lot!

Email to check portal

Emailed to check portal early this afternoon. POI gave unofficial offer last Friday. Area is CV/ML. Already accepted offer.

Ignore WL. Has anyone heard back from this program?

To the person below, I am also still waiting.. do you know anyone who got anything from them??

(Ignore the WL) Anyone else applied for Early Childhood Education MA or MEd ?

We regret to inform you that your application for this graduate program was not successful. Each year, many good applicants are declined admission to the University of British Columbia. Common reasons for declining applicants include unavailability of appropriate faculty advisors and/or funding for the applicant, an applicant's less competitive academic record, and simply the limited number of spots available in graduate programs. Due to the significant number of applications we receive, we are unable to provide applicants with specific explanations for being declined. We wish you well in your future endeavors. Thank you for your interest in pursuing graduate studies at the University of British Columbia.

TTPB: ignore WL. I've heard that they are expecting a class size of 175. The number of admissions they send should be a much larger number.

I did not receive any notification about a decision, I'm worried that the deadline to accept other schools will pass. I tried calling them but the line just rings for 3 minutes, then hangs up. Has anyone heard anything or sent an email?

Can the person who posted the TC acceptance state the PI Initials and/or if they plan to accept the offer? Were you offered acceptance after previously being on the waitlist?

Ignore the WL: Does anyone have a rough estimate of the class size for Fall 21, and how many have been already admitted?

TTPB: To the Columbia applicant below, I also applied to the MS/Phd program and submitted my video interview for master's this month. Haven't received any answer yet.

Anyone who applied to PhD and got the option to be reconsidered to the Master has received any answer so far?

(Ignore the waitlist) - Has anyone interviewed for the MSBA?
