Reached out to PI prior to applying, 3 yrs undergraduate research, 4 poster presentations, no publications, first-generation student

To the above poster: Yeah, same here! I haven't heard back from them either. Will post here if I do.

Skype interview on 30th Jan and get an unofficial notification from one of the interviewees that I would be accepted. He said they will send me an official offer within shortcoming days. Low TOEFL, lower than average GPA, but 2 first-author publications. It seems the publications weigh more than others and the interview is very very important. All of their questions were about my publications and it lasted over 40 minutes.

Religion in the Americas. Everyone who was accepted or waitlisted has been selected. We just had the welcome weekend for the accepted PhD students.

I checked the portal on a whim. I haven't received any emails from them yet.

Interviewed 2/6~2/8

The program coordinator had arranged for three faculty members to interview me. I had gone through a couple of interview on 1/24-25. However, one Professor out of three did not contact me yet. Even, I did not hear anything from UNC yet. I contacted with program coordinator, she did not reply since last month. I would be really appriciate if someone gives me his/her valuable suggestion. Thanks.

I received a call notifying me of acceptance a few weeks back but did not receive the official offer letter yet. Did anybody else get it?

I got an email to check the portal. It was a very nice rejection letter though.

Interviewed Feb. 6-8. Got a call from an interviewer, and I'm thrilled!
