Fully funded offer with stipend :)

Longish, apologetic email - "our program is relatively small and further reduced this year"

notified about waitlist via email! only 2 fiction spots, so don't know what the chances are i'll get off it, but this changes everything

Nice note from program director updating me on my status. I thought for sure I'd been rejected because I hadn't heard anything! No info volunteered by size/rank, but they did mention applications were quite competitive this year.

Letter dated 3/5, handwritten note saying "Thanks for the strong work"

Thrilled. This took one year of application prep, two years of application cycles, craft refining, publication, and mentorship. Rejected from so many programs, including this one last year. Keep applying! The system is truly arbitrary.

Please does anyone know whether this school has released acceptances in Fiction? I saw rejections and a waitlist posted here late February. I haven't heard from them regarding decision: no rejection. No waitlist. No acceptance. And my email to the director has not attracted his response. I submitted my application late. In fact, I didn't make an online application -- Director Sean Bishop required that I email my materials to him, including rec. Letters, since the portal was already close due to his delay in sending me my application fee waiver code. Do you think this is why I have not been carried along in the decision process? Speak to me please!

Generic rejection, sent charmingly by snail mail when they've probably known the decision for a month now.

portal update.

Portal update

Letter dated March 5th. Form rejection.

rejection via snail mail, super wasteful of them? no special note either :(

letter arrived in the mail today. was dated March 5th. signed. portal still reads "in progress"

An email to check the portal. A very short letter of rejection...
