Wow. In general it seems as if a lot of rejections have gone out today from various schools. I'm sorry. I'm in the same boat too. Keep your heads up!!

I didn't apply for Cornell but seeing all these rejects all the sudden I just want to say ---- why are you hating everyone Cornell.... STAY STRONG people! ...... I mean,,, I am anxious about all the ones I applied to and about to die............

If I got a rejection from Cornell for PhD but asked to be considered for MS in the application, does the rejection imply that I won't be considered for an MS? I did not submit a second application, I ticked that box where it said that In the event of not being able to grant me a PhD seat, would I be interested in an MS.
