Contacted the DPhil coordinator over email to ask about interviews. Her response was: "We have received 160 applications for the 13 offers that we can make. We have already invited everyone from the January deadline who will be receiving an interview, and early next week we will invite people from the March deadline for their interviews. I know that this may be disappointing news. I wish you the best of luck on your plans for doctoral study."

Generic but nice rejection letter via email. Expected, did not interview.

Rejected post-interview. Expected since the two people I applied to work with (whose research interests are most aligned with my own) were not super keen on taking on new students. Still sucks.

With $27K scholarship

Offered 40k tuition remission scholarship spread across 2 years

Top Choice - keeping my fingers crossed!

Financial offer to come within the next few weeks

Expected; no interview. 2a/0w/3r/2p

Expected; no interview. 2a/2r/0w/3p

Recieved letter of acceptance. Then recieved a phone call from one of the professors there asking if I would come without funding. After I said no, he proceeds to tell me he read one of my four published articles and literally starts critiquing it and telling me the results dont mean anything and how I am not going to get an assistantship. Totally unprofessional. Shit School, shit program.
