To the poster below, I got interview request this Sunday, and during the interview Claire said they just reviewed my application on Sunday and then sent me interview request immediately. And yes I think you need a interview to get admission.

To the poster below, when were you notified of an interview? I still haven't heard anything, not even a request for an interview. Feels like a rejection at this point. Also, do you need an interview to get accepted? or can you get accepted without an interview.

Sad to see this result. Toronto is indeed harder to enter than Harvard and Yale. 3 publications, several national awards,2-year teaching experience, 5-year research experience. They only accept 2 international Ph.D. per year, one for geography and one for planning. Congratulation to those who get admitted

I emailed last month but the graduate office said they will have an answer by next month or so. anyone international or local students got enrolled or heard back for PhD in Earth Sciences?

I received an admission offer today. It was quite unexpected as I heard (after applying) that U of Toronto mostly accepts Canadian students (and I am not Canadian)! I will decline though. Good luck to the waitlisted candidates who would like to go there!

Applied for part-time program, anyone hear back regarding part-time?

To below: haven't heard anything either, status been stuck at under review. Pretty sure we've all been rejected, as there have been at least 3 rounds of rolling admissions in Feb-March that I am aware of (possibly more)

Thanks for both of the posters below and I have contacted with my potential supervisor，the news from her was there would be few quota this year for international applicants and for now she never received the invitation about my application from the department. Wish god bless me to be your mates in fall 2018.
