They emailed my parents.??? No where in any application did I ever have to put my parents email address down. So that was pretty weird, luckily they forwarded it to me.

Anybody who's got an admit but going elsewhere, please reject your admission so people on the wait list can get their chance! :)

Really shocked to get the rejection. The application materials for UMD, to my understanding, are impressive enough. I submitted the application for to university in a relative later time, which made the materials perfect enough. Really dispointed, though it's not my top choices. Wish everything will be ok. Waiting for the offers!

Didn't even send an email that results were available!

Thank God, accepted elsewhere - safe sch.

To the post below. Just emailed Maryland, they replied that they have sent out all offers and waiting list, but have not sent any rejection yet.

Anyone got the funding? I was accepted last month but still waiting on the funding.

No news from Maryland yet. No rejection, no waitlist. Does this mean an implicit rejection for sure?

Notified by email on 3/1, follow-up phone call from head of department on 3/5. Offered $5000 scholarship.

I am still waiting for acceptance.

So excited!

Email came after Maryland's pre-admission open weekend (25-26 Feb) saying they've made the first round of offers. I went to other open houses after that and just got back home.

Hi I'm the previous poster, and to the poster below, I did not have an interview!

Are there a good amount of waitlisted students going to the accepted students day? Do they accept many off the "priority" waitlist? Any insight is greatly appreciated! Thanks
