Wait-listed, which is nice b/c I expected a rejection at this point.

To anyone who reported acceptances at Ohio U: were you a poetry applicant? I've heard nothing but seen acceptances/waitlists/rejections for fiction and I think some nonfiction too.

Director of MFA tried to call but I am abroad at the moment. Email mentioned that I received the Sanders fellowship. In addition to a complete tuition waiver and a teaching position, this fellowship comes with a stipend of 12K the first year in the program and 15K for both the second and third years.

I'm really hoping to see some movement, but if not then I'm still grateful to be recognized. Congrats to the admits! :) 0a/1w/5r/1p

Email to check portal. Assumed rejection, and it WAS a rejection. Expected! 3a/1w/9r/7p

I saw that other people were being sent to the portal via email or phone call, so I checked mine even though I hadn't heard from them. Saw an update on my application status and there's a sequence of form letters congratulating on admission. Doesn't seem like any funding though.

Funding decisions available next week.

Always the waitlisted, never the accepted...anyone planning to turn down their offer? 😭 1a (waitlisted on funding), 3w, 5r, 8p

They sent me an email telling me there was new information in my portal.
