Major GPA: 3.5. In reply to the previous poster asking about stats. My scores are not very competitive but I had an extensive resume including 1 year experience as a licensed aud. assistant (where I learned how to perform full diagnostic evals, hearing aids, cochlear implants, counseling, etc) which I feel is what made me a stronger applicant. I also had strong letters of rec. Good luck next year :)

Already decided on another program since NEU got back to me after the decision deadline for the other programs. Took way to long to give me a decision back

To the poster below, me too. I was wondering if I was the only one. Since I am local I accepted, but nervous how going forward will pan out and if I will have to battle any other issues!

I was accepted on Monday then an hour later they said they already filled their spots. Then today they sent me an email apologizing for the confusion and offered me admission to the program.

I was told Via phone that all of their decisions will be met by May 1st. They said there are 13 spots to be filled and they are still waiting to see if people want the offer, if not then go to the wait list. I am still in high hopes

I already accepted an offer from my top choice with funding, so I wasn't disappointed.

To the post below: Yes, the same thing happened to me, except they emailed me about an hour later saying that they sent out extra admissions to ensure that they could fill their class, and I didn't respond in time. And so on... I already accepted another school, so I didn't get too upset. I thought it was unprofessional for them to do that to us. Best of luck to you!
