If anyone has been offered a position at U Albany in the physics PhD program and is planning on accepting a different offer please do so soon. This is my top choice but my deadline for the other schools I've been admitted to is this Sunday

Ignore waitlist. Ghosted by South Carolina. They ignored my email. Same with Arizona State and William and Mary. Disrespectful.

No official update to my application, but I received an email just before the 4/15 deadline from one of the individuals on the admissions board. While not explicitly stating it, they mentioned one or more professors has expressed interest in me, but are either waiting for funding, or considering other applications which I've chalked up to mean waitlisted. Unfortunately, considering the first round deadline has passed and I've had no further communications I'm just assuming I didn't get it at this point.

I was on waitlist. My status changed from 'Awaiting decision' to 'Decided' but there has been no status update on the portal or through the mail. Is anyone else facing this or get their decisions already?

Columbia sent a very tardy rejection letter out today. Doesn't matter though one iota because I've already accepted an awesome offer at Duke several months ago :)

I got an email from director of graduate studies at Duke said I got admitted. My only offer this season. extremely excited. Good luck everyone, don't give up if you are still on the waitlist, they are still making offers.
