To the poster who responded to my SDSU inquiry: thanks for your input! And I agree -- it comes down to the financial opportunities for me. Between CSULB and SDSU, LB seems the better choice for me. It's local, living is cheaper, and the tuition is slightly less. I'm mostly concerned that SDSU seems to have more scholarships/TAships available, but if they're also just as competitive as everywhere else, the two-year LB program outweighs SDSU's three-year for me. | ||||

To the poster below: I just turned SDSU down because of financials, even though the program sounded fantastic. If you're in-state, tuition is over $8000, but out-of-state adds an extra $6000, then they estimate fees and cost of living at $13000. Honestly, it didn't sound like the TA position (which is a competitive position) came with a tuition waiver, and personally I didn't want the stress of constantly worrying about where my funding was coming from nor pay for another three years of school on top of what I still owe. Maybe you'll find better answers? | ||||
