Has anyone received an interview invitation from ABS?

What is more frustrating to me than being rejected from this pretentious program is the fact that after spending nearly $100 for my application to be reviewed, it probably wasn't even looked at because my undergraduate GPA was below a 3.8.

Not surprised.

Hadn't heard back from them even though the website had stated that interview invites would be sent out by early-to-mid January. Emailed the program director directly and was told that all invites have already been sent out. Something along the lines of "out of 900 applicants, only 17 were invited...." Dang. Guess not sending anything is their way of either saving time or sparing us from the sting of rejection.

Called the office and all invites were sent out the first week of January. Bit disappointed but I know it's a very tough program! Good luck to everyone!

Called the department and was told all interview invitations were extended early January - Good luck to everyone who got an interview!!

To the poster below. I wrote to the coordinator of the Psychology department as a whole without referring to my specific sub-division (Cognitive Psychology) and was told all invites have been sent. You may enquire from the department yourself.

3 years of research, including 3 summers, in two labs (~1.5 yr each, one envi. sci., one chemistry). 1 pub in prep. 1 travel grant. Three presentations (1 research poster at university, 1 research poster at nat'l conference, 1 oral on independent project at nat'l conference). Beckman scholar.

For a Skype interview on Tuesday. I applied specifically to the Classics/History combined degree, so I'm not sure how the timelines compare to either department individually
