email notification; funding is pending

Hyped!!

Funding information forthcoming

Email from the UCD Sociology Graduate Admissions Chair telling me of acceptance into the program. Funding will follow. First acceptance and shaking with excitement!

Very excited!!

I had an interview with my potential PI and received a congratulatory today. Fully funded but details will follow in coming weeks (I'll share). Masters in an allied field from a mid-level school. Research interests mattered more in the decision than anything else (apparently). 1a/2r/8p.

Got an email to check the website. Generic template letter of rejection. 0a/1r/1w/11p

Generic email to check the portal.

interviewed a week ago and just got the news :) very, very thankful. i was really disheartened by getting rejected from everywhere else

Has anyone heard from this program? Still waiting and curious about results.

Received an email letting me know they would like to accept me but waiting to hear back on funding.

Interview request from the MPC side.

that sounds like a good sign to me. i didn't receive anything so i'm assuming rejection...

Yea, yesterday, 02/03/2021... from Jennifer Hook

to the person who just posted below: may I ask when you received this email?

I got an update from them, it's “ Thank you for your interest in USC Sociology. We are still processing applications and anticipate sending out notices within the next week.” had no idea what this means? Could be no results had been sent out or they are preparing for rejection letters?

Has anyone heard when we should expect to hear back from them?

To the poster below, I emailed them about a week for a status update, but they never replied.
