Was interviewed in March, waitlisted, and then rejected. Received an e-mail early June, asking if I was still interested. I replied indicating that I was still interested and available. Was sent official notice of acceptance a week later. 3 years of constant laboratory work in relevant fields, incoming publications, and direct interest in individual professors' projects likely contributed to compensation for sub-standard GPA and GRE. | ||||
