Email of nomination with PI's name. AI/ML.

Just received an email of nomination with PI name. Also received an invitation to the visit day.

Ignore the status. Has anyone received any notifications from the Learning Sciences and Computer Science PhD program?

two years FT research experience, two first author preprints, research mentoring experience, went to non-target school

Published two papers at a top-tier HCI conference, holds a master’s degree in Robotics from UPenn with a 4.0 GPA. Informal interviewed 3 times, still got rejected. Very disappointed

"I’m sorry to inform you that you have not been admitted to the Ph.D. Program in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon. Although it sounds like a cliché, the truth is that we were faced with very difficult decisions this year because we simply had many more highly qualified candidates than we were able to admit. We sincerely appreciate your interest in our program and the time and effort you put into submitting your application. We hope that you are able to pursue your HCI research interests in another way, and we look forward to seeing your future contributions to the field, even if you were not able to make them starting from our program." I didn't expect to get in anyway so I am not too dissapointed.
