So I got accepted into Upenn's Master's of Liberal Arts program as well as Dartmouth's Master's of Liberal Studies. Has anyone heard of these (M.L.A/M.L.S) degrees? Are these degrees employer friendly? I applied to these degree programs because of the chance to write a thesis since I want to do research on government--more specifically politically economy. I am not sure if I should enroll in one of the previously mentioned (M.L.A/M.L.S) programs or if I should just get my Master's in government at Johns Hopkins AAP program (which I also got into). I just don't want to be in an adult learner's program or unemployed! Interested in hearing your constructive feedback! | ||||

Emailed the program to check on status of application. Unofficial, waiting for the official acceptance. Only school I applied to in the UK and the only school I was accepted to, after applying to three domestic schools and being rejected. Super excited, waiting on funding. Never stop believing. I almost did and I ended up getting a welcome surprise. So maybe get desperate. :) | ||||

Sure! I had a 3.65. I addressed my CGPA in my letter of intent. I maintained above a 3.3 my last 2.5 years of my undergrad. It was just my 3 first semesters that really brought down my CGPA. Also made sure to load up my cv with experience to help compensate. | ||||
