Thanks for the replies both of you. Do you guys know how big the class size is? Since it's already 3 of us who haven't heard about the funding, I'm kind of hoping it's just running a bit late. I think I saw about 2students who mentioned that they received 25K with the acceptance letter. Roderunner - may I ask if it's an individual visiting or a visiting event day thing?

Email from a professor. 24k for the first two years and 20k for the last three.

15 minute interview via Skype/Zoom. Very casual, two faculty from the HB department, just asked why I was interested in the program, what I wanted to learn, etc. Said the next step is matching candidates with mentors, and I'll receive word around late Feb/early March. Note: This is for the MPH-to-PhD program, but they did tell me that the admissions criteria is basically the same criteria for a regular PhD.

Has anyone heard from this program?

I heard about a visit opportunity on February 14 and 15, but I got admitted Jan 22 (seemingly earlier than many others) so that's probably why people are hearing about later visits. I haven't heard anything about funding, and am kinda assuming (given that UNC is definitely my best acceptance thus far) that I'm an unfunded acceptance, although I emailed to ask if such things were decided yet or if I could start advocating for myself by talking to professors. -- Roadrunner

To the poster below: I've received an email from a person in UNC ( I am not sure whether he's a professor or a student) about visiting event on March 29. Not heard of any funding yet.
