This is just to confirm the previous comment. The party line from Dr Mann is that none of the offers have been accepted and that the wait list is unchanged from its initial configuration. So, best of luck, even though I secretly hope for a series of strategic plagues, lightning strikes, and automobile accidents. I know you know what I mean. :)

Expected but don't care about it at all.

Checked the website and the department has recommended admission!!!!

To those on the alternative list for Oregon, the list is still quite intact, according to Dr. Mann, no one who has received an offer of acceptance has even replied back yet. Just thought those on the alternative list would like to know!

Nice to receive the letter.

Thought it was worth pointing out that the actual rejection letters were short, nice enough, and seem to be hand-signed by Bonnie Mann. I didn't care one way or the other about the website notification--a rejection is a rejection, but props to Oregon for sending out the postal letters promptly as well.

Rejected off of the wait list (was in 10th position). I presume this means all 6 spots have been filled. Feeling positive about the response still as I've been in contact with faculty who were 'really rooting for me.' Personalized an impersonal few months.

Thought it was really rude of Oregon to send it in an e-mail. Like they can't even "waste" a stamp on telling you that you have been rejected.
