Invited to interview weekend January 24th-25th 2020

Received a status update via e-mail to visit the application page -- "I regret to inform you that the Graduate Admissions Committee is unable to offer you admission for graduate study. Your credentials received careful consideration before this decision was made". From India; 3 months research and 4 years of work experience as a software developer.

Applied to the program as I loved the curriculum but was determined that will join only if I get a scholarship. I didn't get any but the program is promising and I might just go for it.

My POI said I was not invited to interview weekend because they couldn't invite many people, but I still might be offered admission since not all interviewees will accept their offer.

GPA: 8.97/10. Profile: 1 Granted Indian Patent, 1 Filed Indian Patent, 9 International Publications (1 publication in IEEE Access) in journals and conferences, 3 Indian Software Copyright License, Research Internship at DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) India, External Reviewer for IEEE Access and Few Articles in News Media. I was accepted on 20th with $8k scholarship. Application was submitted on 25 Nov and GRE, TOEFL scores were reported on 9 Dec. First Admit of the Season. Really happy as it is my dream school!!!
