Anyone else submit to Cornell?

Nice email...first rejection, so there's still hope!

I'm going to shave my legs and make myself a new face, a happy face, out of the hair and tears.

Wasn't betting on getting in, but congratulations to everyone who did!

A nice hand-written note at the bottom of the form rejection: "You are a promising writer, but this decision is based on the fit with our program. I know you'll have opportunities elsewhere to thrive! Best of luck to you."

Super nice letter, saying I'm "quite high" on the waitlist. Very excited!

It's as though I'm writing my stories on bananas and mailing them to Madagascar.

I posted one of these, but it never showed up, so if you see five acceptances, don't believe it. One is me twice. Anyway, first acceptance.

1a/4w/0r Lord, can it be April now?

please please please

A wonderful conversation with Marjorie Sandor and lots to think about. Woo hoo!

Hey, guys! Did you read that part where they said how some of us rejects were going to become famous authors? Man, we should do that! That'll show them!

I received a very polite email from the director. He said the waiting list is short but didn't offer specifics. Fingers crossed that this turns into an acceptance!

Something about my skills being too scary good for the program to handle? Cornell, I totally get it.

Waitlisted, after 10 previous rejections. Keep your heads up guys.
