Not surprised since I never got an interview, even though I applied to work with my current advisor haha. I guess the most important thing is the research interest match between you and your POI. UT Austin is being extra unnecessary. First I get a rejection on the portal before I get an email. A few hours later, they send me an email to look on the portal, where I see my rejection letter already there. Today, they sent me an email inviting me to apply for a first-year transfer housing program as an UNDERGRADUATE student! They also added "Eligibility to participate in the program is contingent upon successful undergraduate admission to UT Austin." Thanks UT for thinking of me after you rejected me for grad school! 😊😘 | ||||
