Got an email from them followed by a letter by post. Still waiting on 9 or 10 other applications. Also waiting for them to give me information about the GTA and funding which they said would come separately.

fyi -- on one of the film school blogs, a screenwriter said they were accepted to Michener today (2/15)

Got a call today from Kellie Wells extending acceptance and offering me the Truman Capote scholarship for poetry. VERY excited! 1a/0w/0r/7p

vv to the person below, one person posted on Draft that he was accepted to Michener for Fiction, but that's the only one that was cross-posted. I'm suspicious about these other ones only because of the Iowa debacle from yesterday.

Seems very early for Michener can anyone confirm from draft?

celebrating by listening to kacey musgraves

Is Michener notifying? Does anyone know if they're doing it in waves or if they're sending out all acceptances at once?

I got a phone call and then a follow up email.

Received a phone call from Emily Rosko today. I'm both shocked and delighted!

a disappointment, but not a shock

I was also accepted to the fiction program on Jan 25th. I’ve been in contact with one of the professors, and she said they will likely admit 3 in fiction, 3 in nonfiction, and 4 or 5 in poetry. I think they’ve already contacted everyone who’s been admitted, although I’m not 100% sure. Hope that clears some stuff up!
