Sent an email about an update on the portal. Already knew since I didn't get an interview (a current grad student said if you didn't get an interview you likely would be rejected)

It should be an informal interview, my POI just said that he wants to talk to me. I think the results will be out within this week or next week since the application reviewing has finished (as he said).

POI notified me on 1/13; received formal invitation on 1/15

TTPB: do you mean that you received the informal interview invitation from your POI? Because I have not heard this program requires an interview before. Did your POI mention the date when the admission office will release the decision? Thx!

Responding to the previous post - That's really fast! It took only 3 business days to make a decision on my application.

Responding to previous question - yes, mine was actually in early. I have a friend who was admitted to one of the MA programs on the same day, so I assume that Loyola is running VERY fast on their applications this year.

To the person who heard back from Loyola today below, did you submit the application on time? I assume mine was rejected because I submitted it late (although the portal accepted it)
