POI reached out to me via email, said they already chose their admitted student.

I contacted a professor who replied very positively and another who said my profile is strong but Yale focuses on more econ/policy stuff and mine is energy engg. First rejection, hopefully i get my top choices. Bummed nontheless.

Another rejection this week. Life is hard.

Kind of expected because I didn't get an interview. But still felt like sh*t as this is one of my top choices. Bye!

Did not receive official email, but received email from my POI who informed me they weren't accepting anyone in my specialty this year

For anyone who got accepted by M.A. Statistics but not going, please decline your offer. I really need this chance.

Has anyone heard back from Yale. I'm guessing they will be sending acceptances soon?

Mediocre GPA, perfect fit.

First acceptance after a series of rejections, so I am very excited and relieved. BA in Soc and MA (pending) in Soc. One single-author publication in a non-US journal and several presentations at international and national conferences.

Anyone knows when they will release offers? Anxious.

Masters GPA. 2A/2R/3pending
