Without financial aid, my first offer

Had Skype interview today + got unofficial email with admittance news! Invited to visit & fully-funded, super stoked! :D

Invite to an open house. "While your strong academic record meets our stringent requirements, before we accept PhD students we would first like our faculty to meet you, since we will only admit you to the PhD program if a faculty member indicates that they wish to work with you." "This visit does have the potential to ensure Ph.D. funding as opposed to non-funded M.S. admission."

Email from a prof on the admissions committee. I am so happy about this!!

E-mailed POI, stated they'd just finished initial screening of applicants. Very tight positioning with a competitive pool. Others were simply a better fit despite a strong CV.

rejection from dream school. still waiting for an offer.

I previously posted about getting a phone call saying I was accepted. Today I got the email for the offer, a TAship with partial tuition remission and small stipend. They said all offers have been sent but that they do have a waiting list, so I need to decide soon.

Third rejection letter! Starting to get scared. lol

contacted by POI for phone interview three days before receiving admit e-mail; financial support pending interviews/campus visit; visit weekend march 7-8

Super Excited! Interview via Skype.

Balls.

Funding to be decided later.

So excited! Good luck everyone!
